God's Pocket Oct 2016

Howdy Folks!

I just got back from a great trip to God's Pocket up near the northern tip of Vancouver Island. This is definitely one of my favorite dive areas, and this trip did not disappoint. Bill & Annie had a class act as usual. The weather was a bit dicey at times (with 3 dives really tucked in) but the reef was beautiful!

We had a great crew of 13 divers. 12 of us had cameras, so it was a lot of fun!

This trip I got to play with a new vertical-mount camera tray that I've devised. I'm really liking it!

Beautiful wide angle photography. Really shows off the magical place. Too bad it is not closer to Whidbey :)

There are no words to describe how Fantastic and beautiful diving God's Pocket on the top of Vancouver Island, BC is but a photos worth a 1,000 words, so here's a lot of photos! Thanks so much to Annie, Bill & Richard Salas for another epic life changing week! I learned a lot about diving and strobe lighting!

Also holy epic wide angle vertical shots! I want to be like you one day! Lighting WA is crazy! I love all the color and life you captured and the super cool Star Trek Enterprise D jellyfish shot!

Vancouver Island truly as some of the best diving in the world.
