Unfortunately I do personal training on Thursdays now and from what I am reading online it is not advisable to exercise within 24hours before diving.
SO I am airing on the side of caution and will not be diving. You guys have a great time and hopefully i can get back to diving on Thursdays someday.

I may not be able to make it. I managed to get a really bad cold, head is stuffed. Getting better, but not sure I will be good to go by Thursday, will see.

There's a lot of folk lore out there on this subject that's been discussed, studied, and debunked. Vigorous exercise isn't recommended within a couple hours before diving because it increases body temperature, blood flow, and oxygen use and could potentially affect the rate of absorption of nitrogen into your tissues ... which would then impact your safety margins in terms of offgassing on the ascent. However, DAN's current recommendation is for no vigorous exercise within two hours of the splash. Hard exercise outside of that time window will not have a significant enough impact on your body to matter.

So personal training is at 230pm and last 30 minutes and then I do about 40 minutes of cardio. I have always been one to air on the side of caution and just say NO so that I don't put myself into any kind of situation. Thanks for the info.

My condolences. Try not to light yourself on fire having a glass of water.

Also, I'm still out of town. See y'all in December.
