Scuba Jess checking in.
I beamed down to Redondo Beach last night with a great team of Science officers. YellowEye, StephenMartin, DerekCS, Knee Deep & the Hoodsport Diver. We explored the South bottle field and made contact with many new life forms :taco: :pirate:  . A large variety of Shrimp were out and about!!! :luv: I was so excited to finally see the engine block :joshsmith: :eric: . It had a lot of nice pinpoint gunnels, Scaleyhead Sculpins , tube worms and an Octo in residence.

The water Temp was 45'F, Max depth 75 feet for 65 Earth Minutes. Viz was pretty good considering how far out the tide went.
We had our 2nd dive at Billy McHales were we feasted on a huge onion loaf :partyman: :burntchef: . Thanks Alex!

I hope you all have a great weekend! :eric: :partydance: :taco:
Here are some of my snaps.

Hi Gdog,
Thanks! I thought it was a baby godzila at first, but I think it's maybe a blade shrimp? :)

I saw a red rock crab eating a red octo. Stephen pointed out a stubby squid to me.
