Anyone crabbing near Hoodsport?

Season opens Sat 6/30 so just wondering if anyone was planning on diving for crab nearby since some of the other areas are closed this year.

The canal is Marine area 12 which regs say opens Jun 30.
I’m new to the area and diving so I’m still trying to find info on any good spots to crab but also recommendable for an inexperienced diver. Potlatch was mentioned on some forums, but I’m still digging.
