Alki Junkyard -- SATURDAY 8/3

There was a lot of interest in diving alki junkyard at today's club dive. It's a fun dive! Seapens, nudis, tame wolfeels, rockfish, poachers, sea spiders (maybe you can even get the sea spider cover shot for the upcoming book).

Next weekend's tides are awful again, but if we get up early Sunday we should be able to get in a good high tide dive there.

Splash 7:15. Meet 6:30 or however long time you need for setup before splash. At least parking should be easy!

Maybe even do a dive two (sometimes it's ok to do but worse viz on ebb), and/or head out to brunch after. Cactus doesn't open till 10.

I may not be able to make it Sunday. People can either go without me, or perhaps we can try Sat. I don't think we want to get up earlier, so meet at the same time. Viz/currents will be a bit worse, but should hopefully still be doable.

I might be able to make Saturday or Sunday morning for an early dive at Alki. I'll keep an eye here to see what firms up.
