Hi Club Crew,
Finally making the jump to dry gloves. What liners do you find to be the best combo of warmth and dexterity ?
Thanks,
DT

I have been using these thin neoprene/fleece gloves for a while under my dry gloves.. These work well even if wet and provide a lot of dexterity in or out of the dry glove.

I just got a pair of these wool/fleece liners and they were warmer than my previous double-liner solution (the big yellow things that came with the dry gloves and smaller, polypro liner gloves).

Is dexterity ever a thing in dry gloves?

I may have to try these. My hands are always getting cold.

If, like me, you have Raynaud's (fingers turn white/numb/useless when they get cold), take a dose of a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker (amlodipine, nifedipine, felodipine; they are blood pressure meds. and require a prescription) maybe 4-6 hrs. before diving. I could not dive here without that - plus dry gloves and liners.

For warmth + dexterity + value = the green wool gloves at Seattle Marine and Fishing Supply, near Fisherman's Terminal, Ballard.
They have a HUGE selection of gloves and great prices.

A good 7-10mm hood and general core warmth will go a long way to keeping hands warm. Gloves don't help much if YOU are freezing.

I just use the lined smurf gloves with a thermasilk glove liner for added protection. Worked for me in multi hour dives
