Double Fatality in Isla Mujeres are Seattle Divers

I got very disturbing news today that two friends from the Seattle sailing and diving community were killed in a diving related incident in Mexico. Both are older single men who had traveled together to perform REEF surveys in the past.
What little information I have correlates with the Isla Mujeres thread on Scubaboard. It suggests they suffered fatal propeller strikes from an unrelated dive boat while surfacing or on a safety stop.
Edit: I finally talked to somebody in communication with one of the other people on the trip (sadly turns out that one of them had a girlfriend traveling with them) and they're defiantly the people run over in Isla Mujeres. I'm not sure when to name names, guess I'll be back here later.
Not what I was expecting to come back to start a thread about when I posted here about moving to Portland earlier in the week.
