Dive wagon/cart?

Post by enchantmentdivi »

Any recommendations on a portable wagon/cart for hauling dive gear from the car to the site? Preferably something that folds up. I saw this on Amazon: https://a.co/d/c5XQX0W Thoughts? I hate to admit it, but I’m getting old….

I don't have one, though I've thought about it.

Looking at that one, the engineer in my cringes at the thought of dragging that on uneven ground with 80lbs of dive gear in it. I've used one like this a few times at Picnic Point to go over the RR tracks. It wasn't great from an interior space perspective, but with the big tires and axles it took the weight OK.

I've also seen people with a Handtruck that had soft rubber wheels and a crate strapped into the bottom.

I'm thinking it might be good for walk-on to the ferries, rather than taking my car across to Keystone or Edmonds.

I use this and it is fantastic. 4 tanks, 1 BC, 1 BP/W, weights and all the extras without issue. Makes long treks from the parking lot a lot better.

we used to call those our pimp wagons. Easily carry a couple of tanks and a scooter. But not the wide wheeled version
