Whoa- that GPO musta figured that the diver was, like, enough food for a couple weeks! Pretty ambitious.

And the SCUBA diving cat and dog? man, some people have too much time and money on their hands.

I have heard of this happening before but thats the first time I have seen it. I suppose he was not in any real danger or the guy doing the video would have stepped in. Either way its a good video

There's got to be more to this story... sorry for the skepticism.

Come on... what kind of dive buddy would just sit there filming while you were in a fight for your life?

Was anything done to provoke the octopus?

I know that they are not cuddly, and anything THAT BIG has to eat big stuff...

But...

Any marine biologists or experienced GPO divers to weigh in on this?
