Which Is It?
Which Is It?
I've been trying to decide whether this is some kind of little anemone, or one of the cup corals. I can't decide either way. Found it on the rocks at Union Wharf in Port Townsend this past Sunday 3-30-08, and it was about the size of the orange cup corals we found in profusion at Monterey.

Re: Which Is It?
I think it's just a baby anemone. I have never seen orange cup coral in this area.

Re: Which Is It?
I know it's not an orange, but I was thinking either a brown or a tan.
