Cool pics. I have a Remington 700 PSS in .308 very similar to that M-24 there, but....that scope looks pretty interesting...night vision, I assume?

Just call me old, but give me my old and trusty MIA Super Match any day. 7.5" at 1000 yds open sight. Leaves a little challenge in the game. :salute:

Sweet! You shoot NM with that, Chuck? I have the standard M1A w/ the chrome-lined barrel- not as accurate as I would like, but....a 20 round mag of 7.62 is just a beautifull thing!

I shot for many years in matches. I took silver at the state games of Oregon in the 90's. Was going to go to Perry that year but I gave my space to friend that took Bronze. The @@#$%@@ then at the last minute decided to not go. :angryfire: And I had been slacking on the practice so I did not go.

But loading 3000 rounds a year of 168 BTSP was a pain . Still have that gun but the barrel is all shot out. But it is one sweet gun to shoot.

That is cool. I've never shot competitively, but I'm a long-time fan of the M1A/ M14.

Cats, Dogs, and Ordnance

Post by diver-dad »

A moment to digress from the diving arts for a short (but absolutely true) cat story:

Lets call it "Missing the obvious..." #-o

When I was dating my future wife many years ago, she had two Siamese cats.

Because I was deathly allergic to them, after much soul-searching, she gave them up for me (I can hear you now: "aww - ain't that sweet")

Now, I don't want to say that she rules the roost, but looking back at her cats ... the female she named "pspseena" (don't know how it is really spelled) which she said means "little Princess" in Greek. :hello2: BUT ... the male she named "scadda laki" - not only does that mean "little s--t" in Greek ... to top it off, she had him neutered! :crybaby:

(and yes, I still have mine!)

As for me, I like dogs! (and I don't even own any DUI stuff (yet).

Enough of that -

Bring back more ordnance pix!!! \:D/
