Drysuit seals...

Post by Sounder »

Mrs. Sounder needs a smaller neck seal on her new drysuit - the suit fits great (it's a really really great fit! \:D/ ), but her neck seal is too big. If we wanted to have a smaller one from the factory, we're looking at the custom suit price (cough! :pale: ).

She's got a compressed neoprene suit and the neck seal is compressed neoprene. I have a couple questions I'd REALLY appreciate people's answers to:

1. Can she put any kind of seal (rubber or compressed neoprene) on her suit?
2. Can you recommend someone/somewhere who does a good job replacing seals?
3. Do you have any other suggestions on getting her seal replaced with a smaller one?

Thanks for the help!

1) She should be able to put either neo or laytex on for her

2)Dui

3)They will call u and ask your wrist size..u will have to measure your wrist and tell them the size for neo and for laytex u just cut to fit...

Have fun..
