Vulcanized boots vs Soft neoprene drysuit boots?

Post by Ken G »

I'm just about to order a new dry suit and am wondering on what the general consensus is on attached hard boots vs. soft neo boots with some type of rock boot. Opinions welcome

Thanks!

Definitely the socks w/ rockboot. You don't get air trapped in them when going upside down, you can easily replace a damaged boot. Also, you can turn your suit completely inside out to clean it. Downside is that they're generally a little bigger so you'll need a larger fin boot pocket.
