Bitchin!
I saw the Amphibico housing, but what camera and lights are you running? Some of that footage was unbelievably crisp.

I'd never heard of "vimeo" before, but that blows youtube out of the water. First vid I ever saw online that you could actually tell was HD- it looks impressive as hell on my big home monitor.

Hurray! You read my mind! For weeks I've been going to email you and ask if you'd be interested in putting your videos on vimeo. Your stuff is way to good for low-grade youtube. I'd been missing the days of your videos being high-quality quicktime.

Re: Weekly video vis report :)
hehe thanks!
Ya, youtube serves a purpose, I would say 98% of peeps will only watch Youtuber, but for the other 2% it's really nice to have the vimeo option.
actually many of the vids are up in ipod format on the "podcast" section of my homey home page
I just picked up a lightly used Sony HC-5, figured out that i could make it a booster seat to see out the port of my TRV900 housing, plug in the old LANC cable and voila, HD on the cheap
My primary video lights are Dual Halcyon 24w with 13.5Ah canister. They rock. I also have two DR 24's that i put on light bars, have buddies hold a second light (w/vid reflector), made some light arms so they can ride on someone else's scooter, on a tripod, or just clamp to the ibeams or whatnot for static lighting. They have the ballast in canister so are smaller/easier to stick on peeps/clamp on things

vis was so plankton-full at the Edmonds UW park that i'm not sure i can salvage too much of it.. But, since i promised i'd do a weekly video vis report, I'll give it a shot. Stay tuned Diving the Northwest via Video PODCAST! (and vimeo)
