By boat? Felt like we had the whole smooth beautiful sound to ourselves today on Brad's boat!

1/31 Sunrise Beach (not via boat!) 15-20 feet. The cloudiness seems to be lessening a bit.

1/30 @ sundrock was a solid 20+ feet. I could see my float anchor from the surface at 20 feet, Octos and Wolf eels weren't home during the night dive on the wall.

Sund Rock Sunday 2/20.
Above the salt water layer - stream runoff and fresh water 25 - 50 feet, down to about 15 fsw.
Below the fresh water layer 15 fsw and below, 10 - 20.
Below 150 fsw, 5 - 15. Looks like someone was stirring up the silt.

Lobster Shop on 03/06, after the current stopped we had greater than 40' at the wall (~100fsw) at around 11:00 am. Best viz I have had in my 2 years of diving here! Didn't see a lot on the wall, but saw a lot of the wall!

Sund Rock, 3/19

Surface to 20fsw: 8' vis
21-40fsw: 20' vis
40+fsw: 40' vis

There's a bit of a bloom in the upper layer, but really nice below.

Any viz reports lately, or is it so bad that y'all stopped diving :smt064

Specifically wondering about Alki, Muk and Edmonds.

Edmonds, Sunday Apr 3, 2016 - 10 to 15 feet, but with the bright Sun at least that 15 feet was well lit.

Three Tree today was 20 to 25', better the deeper you went, and we took advantage of the low tide to drop to 100 fsw or so both north and south to cover some new ground.

Sund yesterday was 30+ below 50 ish fsw, and 20' or so above 20 fsw - very nice!

Between 20 & 50, however, it was around 5'.

Weird to see the algae bloom "sandwiched" like that - I'm assuming that it was temperature related.

Cove 2 was about 20-25 feet once you got below 10fsw. You don't need a flashlight until you get past 90 feet. As a plus, the new showers are back on.
