Broken Point West and James Island North were maybe 3'. Yep. That's three. Tons of life. More tons of brown particulate in the water. And THE happiest Orange Sea Cucumbers I have ever seen. Thousands....

Saturday Sund Rock, clear to 25ft, less than 10ft to 30ft, then a nice 20+ all the way to 235.
Sunday Lake Wa (Leschi wall) good viz to 170, and then around 2ft afterwards. Meh.

Both the first and second dive at Three Tree today I was able to see the surface from 55ft down. Obviously less when looking to the side, but still pretty darn good.

Redondo was easily 30ft horizontal yesterday (9/16). Vertical vis was 40+.
We found thee red octos at various places along the deep line, plus a friendly juvenile wolfie. Lots of gunnels and gobies about. The amount of light still available on the bottom was amazing, even at 80 fsw.

Octopus Hole 9/22, muck down to 40fsw, clearing below with 25' vis.

One big octo with its chromatophores going full tilt. White-gray, then turning deep red. Way cool!

Saltwater State Park and KVI Towers (off Ocean Quest), 9/24 -- 18-20ft near the surface, improving with depth. Probably 30 feet of visibility deeper than 20fsw.

Or in other words: the clearest water I've seen here in the Sound since I started diving here this spring. :)
