Holy Camolie! that is some amazing stuff. I just surfed around this guy's site. He's extremely talented. Makes me feel like an idiot, bumbling around with a camera someone shoved in my hand.

I've been wondering if we could do something like this for the I-beams and use a scooter to drag a diver with a videocamera down the I-beams at a constant speed, then take frames out of the video grab and turn them into a top-down panorama of them.

For a recent *cough* deep sea detectives *cough* episode they did this for an entire wreck which was in waters that were limited viz like ours and they were able to construct a panorma of the entire wreck from above, and use that for planning penetration dives.
