I am bummed and depressed that I am not diving right now. My wife is out on a "Girls Only" Bandito Charter and I'm not invited! Since I can't dive, I'll post a few photos from a couple of weekends ago.
We did a couple of boat dives on Zee's and Sunrise, and had some great critter interaction. Sunrise is always fun, and there was a lively pair of a Ling Cod and hungry WolfEel. We caught the wolfie in the act of munching on an egg mass, and the Ling Cod was pissed!

I'm in the same boat; my girlfriend went out on the "girls only" charter too. I spoke to her and I guess they had a great time!
I'm glad you like the pics! We had decent vis of about 15-20 feet on this dive, so pretty good conditions.
I use a DSLR setup of a Nikon D300 and a pair of Ikelite DS125 strobes on about 18" arms. You just have to be careful not to illuminate all the crude between your an your subject. The long arms and proper strobe angles help to avoid showing the backscatter in the frame. It's not too dificult with a little practice and the right setup.
