My 1st club dive....and immediately I was accosted to buy a 'swag'/'sway' (whatever the ....they are called).
I held out as long as I could, but ended up folding to the pressure of the Pez....(Cardiver, he can sell...better get him on the payroll quick!)
Anyways, weather was awesome, dives were great, good time was had by all. Topside highlight for me was to listen to Mr. Rawlings talk about the Warren car discovery.

The dive: Pez, ScubaScott and I headed out around 10:30am to the carousel boat and then around the bottle field. Didn't find much in the way of 'wow' sealife, but we had a good time goofin with little treasures we found.
Up to see Pepper (she's dug in!) and around the big pipe, where Pez magically snapped his fingers and produced a grunt sculpin.
Awesome!
Around some of the smaller boats and then turned to head back in when WHAM! Here came one of those infamous 'Redondo currents'. It wasn't TOO bad, but it sure did appear quick. (Was Penopoly around on Sunday?)
Hung onto some of the ropes to ride out the river during the safetystop, and then ScubaScott and I watched in amazement as Pez made a textbook horizontal ascent in 5fsw. Loved the hand check...(see video).
Max depth ~85fsw, time 50min, water temp ~46'F.
Thanks all for the great dives and hope to meet up again soon. Pez, feel free to keep the shades....

SWAG is just, "Stuff We All Get". You know. The usual t-shirts, pens, mugs, posters, and key chains that are promotional items.
SWAY is.........Nothing.

SWAY was a mis-spelling of SWAG that got repeated a few times. It is now an part of the NWDC official terms list. Like most things around here it doesn't have to make sense to be funny.
