Congrats Are Due!

Post by Zen Diver »

Congrats to 7 people who undertook a marathon of training on Saturday including CPR, First Aid, DAN O2, Advanced O2, AED and On-site Neurological Assessment. When they are finished Bob's Rescue course they will be Dive Emergency Specialists! Woohoo!!!

Thanks to Bob for providing the space, to Sandra and Greg for cheerfully playing the injured parties, and to all the students who made it fun!

It is useful to note that after two very full days of class with Bob, Greg, and Valerie it is a bad idea to sit down on the couch "for just a minute." I ended up falling asleep, drooling, and having dreams of tired diver tows. I woke up mumbling things like "I'm Kate and I'm an emergency responder..."
Thanks to all three of our great instructors - I may be recovered by the next time we meet.

Congratulations :bounceline:
:goodpost: :thankyouyellow: for becoming better trained underwater breathing peoples!

I always love it when the non-divers ask, "Now that you are trained as a Rescue Diver? Does that mean you get to help police recue people when there is a, victim in the water, emergancy?" :bounce:

My answer: :chat:
"No! Now I can help make sure I'm not the, victim in the water, being rescued by the police!"
And if I can help out my buddy, thats a plus also! :highfive:

And when it's all done are you guys and gals going to post in the, Dive Report section, or here?

It would be fun to hear what went well, or not so well, during the training.

I know, I donated a great mask and snorkle to the sea, during my training ](*,) :angryblue:
