Did my AOW cert this weekend with Olympia UW Sports - had Jay Pickett as our instructor. A most excellent class! We did three dives @ Redondo - the 1st turned out toi almost be a drift dive! Then on Sunday we moved up to Sund Rock for two dives - dove both walls. All in all we had 5 great dives! The best part for me was that I went from 38lbs to 28lbs of weight and my SAC is starting to drop. Soon I'll be aboe to be under water for 45 min!
Calvin.. Can I make a request.. I like that kitty but I really like the metal kitties from that same site.. The little orange ones are my favorite.. Change to that!!! K?
"Well I, I wont go down by myself, but I'll go down with my friends!"
Thanks to all of you! My next step is the rescue diver cert - more for myself than anyone else - if I'm better trained/able to handle my own emergencies underwater then I'll be in a better poeition to help my diving buddies!
BASSMAN - am tentavely planning a dive on the 29th with a newly certified diver either @ Sunnyside or Les Davis - he's still a bit wary of other sites. Unfortuantely I really won't know till the 28th when we return from Curacao.
Read BASSMAN's last post to late - no tank or suit ](*,) But that will soon be corrected! Just bought another tank and have ordered a Bare D6 Pro dry suit.
