Yup... another new Bremerton diver.

Post by DockHawk »

Thanks for having me! I got certafied back in the Fall of '08 and can't believe that I waited soo long. Thanks Geo! My wife Karen has just completed her OW and Dry Suit cert. as well, but with a 5 yr old son we have not found a way to dive together yet. We will!!

Due to strange hours I have not been able to dive much lately. I get off of work at around 3am and try to make the 4:15 pm ferry from Bremerton to Seattle most days to get to work.

Most of my dives have been with my long time buddy Geo at Harper's Pier and Sund Rock. We hit Fox Island South wall and Redondo once. There were a couple of trips around Misery Point to look for some structure, but no luck there.

Mostly I like sight seeing and take things pretty slow and easy. It would be nice to find a dive buddy with equally strange hours if possible. I look forward to meeting some of you and diving a bit more in the future. Feel free to pm me if you get time for a dunk between 11am and 2pm weekdays. Have to be at the dock in Seattle at 6pm.

Not sure what else to say :blah:

Thanks all! I am able to dive on the second Thursday of every month... Longshore meeting day. I noticed that Bassman liked Thurdays.

Welcome to our "Nut and Fruit Bowl" Hawk. :bounceline: :bounceline:

There is a great artificial reef at Misery Point. (Hood Canal) Dove it many times.

See you in the water.
