FS: Max Air 55 compressor

Post by don »

I thought I'd post this here before I put it on Craig's List. I purchased this compressor new in 2002. It's in Excellent condition, fills an alum 80 in about 15 min and will fill HP cylinders. 220 single phase electric, weighs about 320 lbs, does not have auto drains or auto on/off. I'm selling it because I bought a larger compressor. Contact me for photos and specs. Sells new for about $7200.00 asking $3500.00. Pick it up on a weekend and I'll give you a free Hood Canal Boat dive!
Thanks!

I'll add that I saw this unit the last time I was over on the Hood Canal :) It's nice, and it's a good one for those doubles divers who need the extra volume over the little bitty ones. Last time I filled my dubs on the smaller cousin of this unit, after I vip'd and hydro'd them, it took an hour from empty to 3300 PSI, and they're LP80s... this will do the job much faster.
There are no stupid questions, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots...
