I wanna wrassle 'em!!! I wanna catch one, and make it my pet. I will call him "Stewart Gilligan", because he reminds me of the Family Guy episode where they survive Y2K, and Stewie mutates into a preggo squiddy octo thingy.

Imagine your having a wonderful leisurely dive when you turn to see one of these squid coming right at you. How many here truthfully and honesty admit they would if suprised by one of these squid CRAP their DRY SUIT?

Humboldt squid: I'll take a pass. Without a big camera aparatus as a shield, Humboldt tentacles suddenly feel much more threatening. Those things attack anything that moves, including each other.

I stumbled across this video of Humboldt Squid in Orange County in 2007 tonight. Talk about NUTS!!! I would be freaked out to be in the water with these guys - check out all the inking going on, as well as flashing. Whoa!! (amazing footage too!)
