I just had a scary thing happen 10 minutes ago. I called my wife to ask her a question and when she picked up the phone she was very upset.

The power just went off at my house and I had left a battery on trickle charge with a MAHA 777+ battery charger. Apparently this is not a good thing to have happen. There was all kind of smoke coming out of the charger and the battery pack got really hot.

Fortunately my wife was home and was able to disconnect everything and put it outside. I have always said never to charge batteries when you were not home. This pack was on trickle charger and I forgot about it.

Very scary. Charging batteries is scarier than filling scuba tanks with O2!
