2018 if you are lucky, and not broke from all the studies you'll have been forced to pay for. (which are generally backhanded bribery)

Re: Kalakala declared hazard to navigation
The sad reality of this pipedream, is this group of poor souls will have to deal with so much bureaucracy and red tape, from so many different government agencies, plus the legal actions, threats, and whatnot from well funded enviro groups, it'll drive anyone, or any individual, to wish to disembowe...

Re: I want to dive on Thursday, preferably at night.
Maybe... I was planning on doing some off roading with the dual sport thursday, but the weather wussies are worried about getting wet, and may cancel the ride. Pretty much where ever for me as well. I've dove TTN, Les Davis, and redondo, where else in the south end can we go? Fox Island East Wall? (...

Re: Donning dive gear, if you dont have a tail gate...
I'm 6ft, and works fine for me. I'm now able to easily get in and out of my gear without any help at all. If i could magically figure out how to get my Whites zipped by myself and fix my neck seal, I could solo dive.. And I'm not diving with tall tanks either (24 in lp95). I just offer this table as...

Donning dive gear, if you dont have a tail gate...
When I dove with Bob, he had this Costco Table, that made it easier to don/doff my tank/BCD, since I dont have a tailgate. He also spoke of this "X table" at home depot. (By Husky, X form Table I think) I picked up one at home depot, and they are (to quote wally at Tacoma Scuba'), some rea...

Re: Kalakala declared hazard to navigation
I've sunk a few boats in my time, and its really not that hard to do. Just the same as blowing something up, you have to have some knowledge of construction... After that, a few properly placed shape charges and a hell box, and its party time. (edit) I should add to sink it in place (like to block a...

Re: SAC rate?
Lots of good points. Comparing to others is really hard; it's very helpful as a way to guage your own performance over time. You'll see it drop in your first few months of diving (assuming you are diving routinely) as you become more skilled and relaxed. In good conditions with no stress, I am arou...

Where do you park, at the park it appears on 6th Ave? I see Steamers parking lot, but says for Steamers customers only.

Re: Anyone diving friday?
Had a good dive today with raptor. we saw we think saw 3 Octo's the first dive and a couple in the second. Several of them moving about, which is always both cool, and kinda sci fi creepy. FIW West wall is a great practice dive, because you have ledges, etc to practice buoyancy getting down or over ...

I started at 1.04. I'm now down into occasional 70's, and solidly in the 80's.
As Bob noted, stress, cold current, even depth affect your SAC
