WTB- DUI classic weight trim belt

Does anyone have a DUI classic weight and trim belt they'd would like to part with?

Im interested in the older adjustable pockets style, not the newer weight pouch style.

If you do, how much and where are you located?

Thanks,

Tim

Wearing merino wool blend work socks. So far feet are plenty warm.

Thanks for the rest of the input too.

8-19 Sunnyside Park - Looked awesome in the shallows, but closed right up to 8-10' viz below 10' and never got much better out to the 60' range on the pipeline. Good ambient light down at depth though, so all in all it didn't suck too bad.

Re: Just bought a drysuit at the UWS Divers Fair.

I really am disliking the boots on this suit. They are big and floppy and pretty soft and flexible, making shore entry over sharp rocks a pain (literally), also don't like the ballooning effect and having my fins feel loose on my feet. I can see why many people like the sock style suit and then a l...

Re: Just bought a drysuit at the UWS Divers Fair.

Dive #5 tonight at Les Davis. Again at depth, no issues, really getting the feel for this suit. This time coming up, I started dumping as much air as possible, putting on a fair squeeze at 20', but it paid off with real nice control as we hit 15' for a safety stop and then up to 10' before popping t...

Hope you'all had a good dive.

We hit Les Davis and still ended up with a murky <10'.

Deco for Divers showed up last night and couldn't wait, so stayed up an extra hour paging through it. Wow, what an interesting and easy read.

Thanks again Matt!

Re: Just bought a drysuit at the UWS Divers Fair.

Had dive #4 on Tuesday at Dickman Mill on the Tacoma waterfront, once below 20' I think I've got this pretty good. My buoyancy was as good as it was before going dry, if anything it is a bit better as I can more easily control the bubble in a smaller area as opposed to my big 65# BC wing. Coming bac...

I was looking forward to meeting a bunch of you, unfortunately my dive buddy did Redondo last night, said the bloom was thick with 10' viz max. So we're headed to Les Davis, she's hoping to get a little better viz.

Re: Question

And tech diving is very costly -- if you are scraping for cash for basic gear, it probably will be a losing battle to tech dive. Very true words, I'm gearing up for a couple basic tech and mixed gas classes and it is tearing money out of my pocket extremely fast. Have dropped $3k so far and another...

Re: Just bought a drysuit at the UWS Divers Fair.

Thanks for the input Dusty. Next couple dives coming up, I'll muck about at 500lbs and see where I am. As far as the loose legs, I'm serious about having the boots replaced with socks and going to some Converse tennies or rock boots, then maybe they can take an inch or two out of the leg diameter wh...

Weds - Salt Water Park - 10'~ ish all the way out to 70'.

Thurs. - Sunnyside - 15'+, but the current was moving pretty good for a site that is billed not current sensitive.

Re: Just bought a drysuit at the UWS Divers Fair.

Got another dive in with the Apollo suit this past Thursday over at Sunnyside. Dropped another 4 lbs and now things are starting to come together. Can definitely feel the buoyancy smoothing out and I'm much more trim, not as much feet up or head up to correct the feet up problem. I'm thinking that I...

Re: Scooters. What do you have? Your likes and dislikes?

Great input everyone, definitely turning into an epic Scooter thread. Thanks for the offer kdupreez. Will have to make my way up for one of the WWW events or a mid-week tweak and see if that offer is still good. Scooter will have to wait another month now (maybe more) as I am gearing up for a class ...

Re: Just bought a drysuit at the UWS Divers Fair.

As 60South has already mentioned, we dove on Sat and had some fun playing with the inversion correction, we had a bit too much weight so I was chasing a fairly big bubble. Got another dive in tonight (weds 7-29) over at Salt Water St Park with the Fed Way UWS crew. Cool place, never dove there befor...

Re: Port Townsend

Flagler fishing reef was <10' viz. A lot of time trying to control the bubble in the new dry suit, so it was a very tiring dive for me. Thanks for the help and being babysitter Glenn!

Did find half of an old porcelain wash basin and a piece of a hand painted China plate; that was pretty cool.

Just bought a drysuit at the UWS Divers Fair.

In a different thread I had blathered the following: The cold hasn't bothered me with my longest dives being one hour and I'm currently diving wet. Will be going dry at some point this year so I can do more winter dives. Have gotten chilly a couple times, but nothing serious, usually on the second d...

Lots of haze in the water yesterday, viz was <10' and didn't really clear up at depth.
