So I did this dive and it was a good experience. Part of the fun was building up some fear beforehand, which pretty much evaporated after we met the staff. There is no swimming around with the sharks, but you hang out on their tank bottom. As a bonus, while you dive you're part of the shark exhibit....

Thanks for the tips! I live in Capitol Hill, Seattle, and the hidden GPO sighting was at Redondo Beach.

Interestingly, they require you to wear their drysuits in the 75 degree water, but don't seem to require drysuit experience.

I plan to try this out in a couple weeks (the scuba version).

Hi there! I like diving in Puget Sound, although I haven't been doing it in recent months. I hope to see more GPOs sometime--so far, I've only seen the tentacles of one hiding under a sunken boat.
