I would be up there in a heartbeat if I was certain that I would have any money this winter. Things are a bit thin in the construction industry right now. I have a couple of friends who may try and dive Sitka on a cruise in the late summer.

Oh no, no,no! [-X
That's way too warm for Sitka diving!
I'd rather chip the Ice off my gear and splash into that 47 degree water! :supz:

This looks like a great time. I grew up in Juneau and Larry spent a number of years there but didn't dive back then. Can you give me more information? When? How much? Nearby lodging?

We dove with a big burly 20-year old in Juneau that refused to dive if he saw sealions in the water. They must make them meaner in Alaska?

When were you in Juneau and who was the 20 y/o? I don't know many 20 y/o divers in Juneau.

Know him well, Taught him to dive and mentored him (life, fire department, diving, etc) for along time.

He's a good guy but yea for somebody his size he doesn't like lions. And yes, the lions are a lot bigger and can be a lot meaner up here!
