Those are some big tanks alright. Ideal for someone really tall. One caveat though - it looks like the manifold has the 45 degree angle that some people dislike. And since they're 7/8ths threads it could be difficult/ expensive to find a replacement. Just something to be aware of.

I'm pretty sure I know who's tanks these are and they are not the 45 degree angle.. If they are the one's I'm thinking of..

I was thinking they looked like Genesis valves, and manifold. Regular not the 45 degree.

I had never seen an angled 3/4" valve when I worked at a shop.

Acually I was under the impression that all of the Genesis HP tanks were rated to 3500 psi. And all 3500 (not 3442) tanks have 7/8ths threads and DIN valves. Now you have me second guessing myself. Must do a little research.

3500psi = 7/8" threads
3442psi = 3/4" threads

as you discovered outlet angle is not reliable. but 7/8" is a visibly narrower neck than the 3/4"

Although the ad does say that it needs a new zipper for $300 which makes it a considerably less great deal IMHO.

yeah, but that's a crock. you can get a new zipper installed for less than that.

i think josh got his done for less than that, and i remember one of my LDS' saying that they did new USIA zippers for ~$225. but that was over a year ago. maybe their prices went up a bit since then.

i would also get a quote from http://www.drysuitrepair.com/ and http://www.gamblescuba.com/

"FREE Diamond Kevlar drysuit, needs new neck and wrist seals"

Don't know how expensive that is, but its gotta be a steal when the rest of the suit is free.
There is also some other stuff up there.

anyone have an idea on how much it would cost to have those seals replaced? thinking that suit would fit me otherwise.

Probably 150.00 for all three seals.

Yes I know a lot of people think these are junk, but I have seen them used and the owners really liked them.
