Sund Rock - 9/7

Post by Scubie Doo »

Penders and I had a couple of really nice dives out out Sund Rock last night. I am working through my photos. However, we did swim with an odd looking worm for about 5 minutes at the end of dive #2. We were at about 30' right at the north end of the south wall. This thing was hunting or something, it would not stop swimming around. I tried to get some shots, but it was really challenging. I have never seen a worm with big eyes like this. Any guesses on what this is?

It was about 2-3" long.

A little out of focus, but shows some detail.

Wow that ain't bad at all for night shooting, Cool critter but worms are really tough to ID even for the experts and they definitely aren't on my list. Them little guys are real hot rods. I'm surprised you got that kind of detail. They never stop except when they dive back into the sand.

So what is it, anyone?
Pop tarts and gravy,
It's what's for breakfast.
