Sund Rock - 5/9/15 - Warbonnet Heaven

Post by Scubie Doo »

First, Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there.

Hit Sund Rock with EJ, Pender, and Gdog yesterday. Two fantastic dives with fantastic vis. Off to Mother's Day lunch so here are my favorite pics :)

It's a great photography day when you get (28) keepers and you throw away another (20) because of minor "issues".

I was feeling B&W on this dive too.

I am really proud of this shot. These are two different shots from right and left fused together. I was excited to get them so close to a mirror image.

And finally, for EJ :-)

Sund Rock 5-09-2015

Post by Gdog »

Met with Penders, Scubie Doo, and Ej sunday for a couple dives at Sund Rock. Vis was interesting, with a warm, clear layer above 20', less than 12" vis from 25-45' then clearing up to 20' below that. It was a jellyfish convention evidently as they were everywhere. Finally got my new camera working, and got a few shots. All in all, it was a fantastic day of diving and hanging out with friends.

Glad to see that the warbonnets are still hanging out at the glass sponges. Love the shots - thanks for sharing!

Totally agreed. That jelly eating a bunch of other jellies was cool.

Love the jelly shot!!!

Lacy, delicate, surreal, kind of like an aquatic ball gown for Cinderella from her undersea fairy godmother!

That's a spectacularly RED tubeworms. I'm not sure I've ever seen one that color.
