ok, after babysitting these guys for 6-9 weeks they finally decided to hatch. Keith and I missed the big rush but were lucky enough to catch some and from the pictures it looks like there are lots more to come. Rock fish were extremely annoying trying to suck them up as we were trying to take pictures of them. Had to give them a little attitude adjustment with my strobes. Spent 2 full dives with our heads stuck in a hole.
There was a strange creature, that I have no idea what he was but he was very active.
Visibility started out real bad, but as the tide came back in it cleared to about 20-25'. It was a great day with the octopus babies

We were surprised that she was still red and had eaten crab since we were there last.
Thought they quit eating the closer they get to the hatching.
