Dive Aploza June 29th - July 1st

Post by sparky »

Hood Canal Summer trip for 07 is shaping up to be as good as last years trip was
So as a member of North West Dive Club, you are all invited to
Dive Aplooza
held this year at Mike's Beach Resort
http://www.mikesbeachresort.com/

Being held the weekend of June 29th through July 1st come and meet the faces behind the avatars of your favorite dive club not to mention the chance to dive with some of the best dive buddies you will ever have
Saturdays cook out is sure to be the hit of the weekend again this year.
Do not miss out sign up now and reserve your spot in what is sure to be the event of the summer.

Cost is $65.00 per diver including air fills and unlimited diving at Mike's Beach Resort and access to Flag Poe if you would like to dive there

Octopus Hole is a short drive down the road and Sund Rocks only a little past that if you would like to pay the day use fee for that site as well

And for those that will not be diving the cost is only $15.00 per day for the little ones there is a play ground on site and in the evenings you can relax while watching a Movie in the theater or relaxing in the hot tub or the sauna
There is a heated drying room and a heated shower room and plenty of hot water for showering off after your dive

I have stayed with Mike and his wife at this resort many times and I have always had a good time and found the service to be very good
So plan now to join in the fun and see first hand just what all the fuss is about

I'm bummed. Last year I had something else I had to do and this year I'm taking my 7 Year old grandson to Disney Land. It's ok though, I will enjoy myself just the same! Granchildren allow grandparents to act like kids again! Wahoo!

Great job Sparky! =D>

I just need to clear up a few details.

Is the $65.00/person is for Two nights?

What about just one night?

As usual, I will be working on Friday, Coming to the Canal after work for at least one night dive,

Dive as much as I can on Saturday, then will go home saturday night.

But hey if the $65.00 is for two nights I might have to do two nights :supz:

I have a family trip to Colorado the very next weekend. So I have to see how that developes before I can come up with a final count.

Sign me up for two divers, as of now!

the $65 is for the diving and a place to ceash for the weekend and all the Air you can breath thats what I have worked out with them There are some cabins but I told her that the couples that wanted to book that way would contact her on there own I did not want to lock any one in to a ant thing if you decide to gopt for a cabin make sure you let them know you are with NW Dive Club and it issuposed to include you air as well

I wil start a running list latter this evening and post it from time to time
We also need to decide on a menue for the weekend as well

and Bassman the price I have worked out with mikes isfor two nights
Friday Saturday and checking out Sunday
looking foward to this like you would not belive

and BTW

I HAVE A DRY SUIT NOW
thanks to NiceDiver aka jeff gave me a grate deal on it you rock BRO

Hey, Sparky!

What brand and model of dry-suit did you finally purchase? I know that you've been considering it for quite a while and I'm curious what your final decision was.

I should be there too, probably just one diver. Do we send payment in advance or at the resort?
