I just completed UTD essentials with Bdub and Jeanna Edgerton. What a great class! In a month, I feel like I have been given a huge boost towards becoming a competent solid diver. Lots of work to do mind you, but there has been a major change in my diving in the last 6 weeks. I can't recommend this...

I saw some jellies at Les Davis last Sunday morning. They weren't Lions Mane, but looked similar -- just not so robust. I came up between two about eight feet apart, saw another half dozen in the area. Trailing about 5 ft down. I love the little moon jellies... these guys squick me out. Not stung ye...

If only there were a way to silt up the pool so you could introduce students to the harsh realities of low viz before getting out in the open water. =-) But we can't.
