I was really impressed with the dive rite fin. I also have jets and turtles and these are my new fav.

Hp 100 are nice for more air and less lead but you cannot stay in trim if you unclip the back. The need to unclip the back is rare, and really not necessary. But both ORdiver and myself have successfully unclipped hp100s from the buttplate and stayed pretty much in trim. Besides, if you have a need...

A lot of people use al with no weight on them as it will also put you out of trim. Or they use lp tanks as they tended to be more neutral.
That is what people did down in fl for there cave diving.

Got called an idiot for selling my pony!
I use one or dive doubles or a sling. I have had regs fail and need it. The reg fail was because of faulty service and was not a free flow. My buddy was one foot behind but at that instant he could have been half way around the world.

It has to dry and you would not want to risk it being late then no gear for class so "two weeks no gear"
