Its where we launch the boat in anacortes.. There is a south road that goes to a beach with a staircase.. There is nice rock structure to dive there ...

Looks like today was the day to do it. With a west wind, the pass is likely to be pretty roughed up tomorrow. Won't matter much once you're under though.

Be careful with a W wind and swell at Deception Pass. I had a buddy picked up by a wave and deposited on the rocks under those conditions. Just say'n be careful.

Steve is right, as you swim out to the point, some of the rockscome close to the surface. The visibility today was not that great, probably 10- 12 feet with silt, might be worse tomorrow, so be careful ..

We will ... if its really bad when we get in, then we will thumb the dive ... I dont plan on drifting the whole site, just enough to see the wall and get around the corner... But as always safety first ... Hope to see some pics from you Jan.. and Diver BOB

Did anyone go up to Skyline on Friday? I'm still sorting out optimal currents there and would like to know what happened.
My suspicion was there was an outgoing current that didn't change.
