Actually 7 works out better for me too. I'm headed up to the outlet mall up north tomorrow with a friend, and it will give me more time to get back in case I hit traffic or spend more time than I think I will.... I forgot though, I need to grab gear at the dive shop tho! Maybe I can just stop by the...

haha.. i like my big sharp knife man!

Actually, I was with some Navy divers this weekend at Ocean shores and they said they can give me some dive stuff if I want... are there any cool Navy diver things I should ask for?

but the Pelican cases are so cool... they're watertight and indestructable in case a shark tries to attack my truck and mess up my gear. I have a Pelican 1700 that I put on my roof rack... it's for storing a rifle that I don't have. :toimonster:

Pelican Cases or other for storing scuba gear

I'm starting to accumulate more crap in my trunk so i'm thinking to get a case of some sort to store all my gear rather than let it fly around in my trunk. Is there a popular brand, size, etc that scuba people use? I know Pelican cases are popular with the offroad crowd, any other options or popular...

dang Calvin, i'm so calling PETA to tell them what you're doing to your horse. haha.

From the looks of the pic of that octo, you were awefully close. Do they ever attack or something? Big things with long arms scare me... like Shaq, Abominable Monster, Snakes on a Plane, etc.

I want to go... but i've been dealing with a root canal ](*,)

And if you don't know already, a toothache gets 10 times worse when you dive. I learned that 2 weeks ago... even vicadin didn't help.

Thanks for letting me tag along guys... I had some buoyancy probs due to the different rental gear this time... i'll try not to kick up so much sand next time :salute:

It's mighty cold at 80 feet, I can't imagine what it'll be like at 120.... I think me needs a dry suit!

Hey LG, I'm down to dive sometime too. Last weekend at Edmonds we were only about 20 feet down and there was plenty of neat stuff around to look at. Lots of big Ling Cods a few feet long too.

Just dove at Alki tonight w/ Calvin and the crew, and at 60ft+ it gets pretty cold. haha

Glad to hear I did good on my 1st dive =o) I'm looking forward to next week and hopefully seeing a shark or octo.

I'll try to gain some weight this week like Maverick mentioned so i'm not so cold in deeper water. haha.

Not sure if we've met before, but i'm guessing probably not... you knew an epuffy before? I've never met anyone else w/ my SN before... i'm on Audi, Range Rover and now this scuba forum... maybe you are on one of those?

Yep, i'll be there Wednesday. Looking forward to getting deeper than 30 feet. :supz: Test was easy... Fred our instructor was pretty strict on making us do stuff over and over again in the pool to make sure we were all comfortable with all the skills once we got out into open water. I am very happy ...

Lost a Blue Oceanic snorkel at Edmonds on Sunday...

Lost it while wading out (tide was quite far out tho)... if anyone finds it please let me know and i'll give you a reward for its return. Was my 1st snorkel, so I guess it has some sentimental value.
