Re: Need Dive Buddy for Monday, Sept 17 - Edmonds UP
Tides for Edmonds are kinda iffy because its so shallow and for decent vis you really need to catch it on a high or incoming tide... I'm off on Mon. though and live up in S. Everett 10 min. from the T-Dock, if you're up for it I could do a couple dives earlier than the regular MMM crew... Still the ...

Re: Looking for dive buddy for Mukilteo & nearby sites
Evergreen Dive has a Thurs. night Shop dive @ the T-Dock that's a good group to go out with... I'm about 10 min. from there too... Usually dive the weekends cause I have my G-daughter on Thursday nights... Feel free to hit me up for a dive though, always on the lookout for more Buddies

Busted lens port on my housing
Posted this in the Imaging section as well but not everyone goes there and I'm trying all avenues right now because I can't afford a new housing... I have an Ikelite 6242.90 Housing for Canon S90 and while giving it a good cleaning tonight during re-assembly the lens port threads snapped... #%$^&...

Re: Making the Olympic loop
Keystone would be a good choice for your time on Whidbey Island... It's on the other end of the Port Townsend Ferry if that's the way you're getting to Whidbey... There can be some pretty rippin' current through there at times but it's one of my favorite places to dive... Timing is everything though...

Vision question...
This may seem like a dumb question but I can't remember if I had to order - or + corrective lenses for my mask... I wear glasses but not contacts and am very nearsighted... After cataract surgery earlier this year the prescription changed considerably and it's now hard to focus on near objects... Ca...

Nice catch Guy's... I've been wanting to try out along the N. Coast but never seem to have the time or Buddy to go with...
Sounds like a great time was had by all!!! I did manage to get out and do a bit of crabbing for opening day though... That was pretty entertaining...

There were an awful lot of Freedivers out today as well... Seems everybody and their brother was out today... Still I didn't have to park any further away than I would on any nice weekend and I got to eat some tasty crab for lunch... :burntchef: :burntchef: Had to chase a few boats away from the bou...

Re: Insanity at Mukilteo this morning!
I caught my limit within 10 minutes of dropping, although with viz that bad, it felt like I had the place all to myself. That's because you couldn't see anyone else from all the silt clouds...   But it was a pretty fun way to start the day and we won't mention whose wife had to b...

That is very cool!!! I've a feeling the rivers there move a tad slower than ours though... and a different strata of soil types as well... But that's really cool though and it would be a blast to give it a shot, you never know what you'll find...

Someday someone will realize that what the critics are looking for has nothing to do with what sells tickets. People go to theaters to be entertained for a couple of hours. Not to experience a new prospective on the human condition or to refresh our souls. We simply want something that is going to ...

So I finally got to try out a new (to me) camera underwater after playing around with it on land for a couple weeks... It's a Canon S90 in the Ikelite housing (Octoloco's old rig) with my old S&S strobe/tray... Last Sunday went over to Keystone and spent an hour and a half under the pilings, har...
