Re: Another great day at Redondo

HEY! This moron is still diving wet too.... 50 degrees at depth for Redondo last weekend. Can't quite bring myself to join the clear lake crew - although with some arm twisting.... Who knows? Let me know how you fare!

Re: Saturday's Crab Feast!!

Thanks for your motivational story... =D> Sounds like an absolute blast! I'm going to have to try this this year. I'm looking forward to it and this really feeds my excitement. I'm starting to think I NEED a scooter too - However, it's prioritized right under the NEED for a drysuit. This crab thing ...

Re: Another great day at Redondo

We had several excellent dives yesterday at Redondo with Sheri, Scottsax, Squishyduck, and ORdiver. Minor correction... :book: DiveMonkey was there (Perhaps we'll see ORdiver on a future outing). I had a great time diving with some great folks and definitely my best dives in PNW to date! Lots of ne...

Re: Club Dive: Oregon divers unite!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be heading up there too. However, if I'm not catching a ride with one of you the truck will have room for only 1 other person - unless my GF is coming along for the ride. Squishy - let me know if you get that trailer and keep me up to date on your open seats! I'm not opposed to driving if it he...

Re: Northwest Dive Club Invades the Hood Canal!

So, I'm curious... Do we have any indication of how many attendees are in the TTDNC category? Personally, I'm also in the TTEC group but pretty open to any arrangement as long as the diving is included. I just thought it might be helpful to figure out if we're camping or not (or how many fall into e...

Re: Overcoming mental blocks and getting back into it

I know I am making Dive Monkey sound like a hyperactive 7 year old, which he definitely is not.
No worries. I like to talk about diving. I know it. Even when I don't really have a point.

SquishyDuck : Thanks - The feeling is mutual. Let's make it a habit!

spatman: I am indeed a Portland/Vancouver resident. I'm in the southern suburbs right now but moving (still in the area) at the end of July - and work in downtown Portland.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

I assure you that following my refresher course this Saturday, I'll be ready to get out and get wet... That urge will be instantaneous upon course completion!

Re: Happy to be here!

I'm currently in the Vancouver/Portland area - ok, southern PDX suburbs... But my lease is up soon and I imagine I'll be inching north. I work in downtown portland right now.

I'm looking forward to exploring more of WA too, since it seems that many of the popular dive sites are a bit north of here.

Happy to be here!

Just wanted to say 'Hi'... I'm fairly new to the area and looking forward to getting wet and meeting some similarly dive crazy people. I've been out of the water for a year or so and am taking a quick refresher course this weekend. After that, I'm looking forward to checking out what I expect will b...
